"Say So", by Doja Cat, is the second most popular TikTok sound being covered with 17.6 million videos, trailing behind "Lottery (Renegade)" by around 12 million videos.  (Interestingly enough, in terms of popularity on other platforms, "Say So" currently has about 650 million streams on Spotify, while "Lottery" only has 128 million).  Similarly to "Mood" and "Savage Love", "Say So"'s audio clip is of its chorus, specifically from 14 to 25 seconds of the song.

The sound bite selected from "Say So" follows almost exactly the same pattern that was observed in "Mood (feat. iann dior)".  The song begins with an instrumental section and is immediately followed up by a two choruses where the second of them is more flushed out than the first.  The standard chorus of "Say So" actually feels more like a double chorus than one single chorus as the melodic content repeats with only lyrical variations, so the clip selected for "Say So" only features the last words of the first time through the chorus and the entire second repeat.  This is most likely to the credit of the lyrics, as the second repeat has more imagery based words. The middle of the first phrase of the chorus has the line: "keep with me in the moment".  Comparatively, the middle of the second phrase contains the line: "no punches left to roll with", which has a much more graphical connotation.
Regarding the drums, "Say So" features a four-on-the-floor disco pattern.  This means that the kick drum plays on every beat, the snare plays on the 2 and the 4, and the hi-hat plays on every off beat.  This drum beat is popular among dance music and became popular along with disco music.  The bass and guitar part alternate between following the drum beat, playing on the 1, 2, and 3 of the measure, and playing a syncopated rhythm that contrasts the stark four-on-the-floor drum beat.
While in "Mood" the differences between the chosen stripped down chorus and the subsequent full chorus was stark, the additions in "Say So" are less noticeable, with only the hi-hat getting louder and background vocals being added.

Mood analysis from Cyanite

As with previous songs, the Cyanite AI detection associated the fact that the song was in a major key with a happy mood.  Although the AI did understand that this song was more energetic than others, it did still consider the song to be more calm.  One explanation for this is the rap section from 1:52 to 2:27, where most of the instruments are filtered to have a darker tone for this section.  This could also account for the relaxing characteristic.  When just considering the section being used on TikTok, this chart seems to be less accurate than it has for other songs, but it does still give an interesting insight into more subconscious traits of "Say So".
